Artist's comments: Last year, this got me started on quilting, now a serious addiction. This year, my first applique. Fortunately my new puppy Mica is cool on the quilting, as long as I
walk her first. And of course toss her tennis ball a time or two or three.... She just can't get enough playtime; even the geese flying overhead can't distract her from her favorite toy.
