A Different Kind of Buddy

Artist's comments: About a year ago I stumbled across the website of an artist, Susan Vosburgh, who makes "beasts" - http://www.beastinme.com/ I had always wanted a caricature of Buddy, so I wrote her to order one. I gave her lots of details about him, and told her about LABMED, and was thrilled when I received the original 8 x 10 drawing. I have it framed and in a very special place in my office.

What better way to show a "Lab at Play" than to show off this drawing of my Buddy-boy? She's captured his wonderful smile, his laughing eyes, and she even gave him the right color of bandanna. I am very happy that she gave her permission to use a photo transfer of her drawing in this quilt square.
