LABMED's A Stitch in Time IV Saves . . . Labradors!
Put on your creative hats, pull out those sewing machines, thread those needles, it�s time to start working on the 2003 LABMED Fund Raising Quilt. Our first three LABMED quilts were such a success that we've decided to do it again! The idea is simple.
Collectively we will create a quilt that will then be raffled off. The masterpiece will be "shown" on-line and with luck, at some specialties. We will also have a "People's Choice" contest for the favorite block created.
How Can I Participate?
The theme of this quilt is The Labrador: A Dog For All Reasons. We are sure our creative LABMED supporters will once again supply us with wonderful blocks to stitch together into another masterpiece. The deadline for submitting quilt blocks for this year's quilt has passed and the quilt blocks are on display. We've announced the winner of our People's Choice contest for 2003 as well!
The deadline for creating a block for this quilt top and to purchase a raffle ticket to win this quilt has passed. The winning raffle ticket will be announced at the LRC, Inc. National Specialty in St. Louis, MO on October 10, 2003. You don't have to be present to win. Stay tuned for more details!Need Inspiration?
