Artist's comments:
This picture of Buddy was taken at the 1998 Labrador Retriever Specialty in
St. Louis, by LABMED Board Member Jim Groenke. It's one of our favorites,
and has graced some of our auction items in the past.
LABMED Board Members work together every day over the Internet, but because we are spread out all over the country, we don't always get to meet each other, or Buddy. That week in St. Louis, though, 9 Board Members, two husbands, and several dogs all got acquainted. It was extra exciting for everybody who got to meet Buddy in person and find out for themselves just what a wonderful fellow (and LABMED ambassador) he is!
