Artist's comments: Sherri handpainted this block using a photograph that they have of Buddy. She used airbrush paints that are permanently affixed to the fabric by a heat process, and is washable. Sherri has used this process on several of her own fabric articles, and they do not fade or wash off. They are permanent.

Sherri is quite an accomplished artist. She has been doing dog-related artwork for part-time sales since the early 1980s. At one time, it was the income from her artwork that we used to pay for all our dog-related activities. She is a regular contributor to Ducks Unlimited and other fundraisers. She has competed in in the Federal Waterfowl Stamp contest.
