Success Stories

Bostwick, August, 2001

Bostwick Bostwick had been living on the streets of Los Angeles for quite some time. The lady who had been feeding him contacted his rescuer. It took several attempts to catch this black Lab mix and get him to a vet for treatment of his injuries. Bostwick appeared to have been the loser in a dog fight. Bostwick had numerous injuries, including a laceration to his tongue that required surgery to repair. There were also injuries to his ears and a front leg. Bostwick turned out to be a very friendly fellow, once caught. The poor chap had a bad flea infestation and sarcoptic mange, in addition to his injuries.

LABMED was happy to help with funding for Bostwick's treatment, surgery, and x-rays. At last report, Bostwick was enjoying life in his new foster home.
