Bubba, February, 2000

Bubba, a chocolate male, was turned into a shelter in Arkansas after showing up at a stranger's house in February 2000. Bubba was about 18 months old and heartworm positive. He was in good health otherwise and the shelter contacted LABMED for help with the cost of the treatment after attempts to find an owner were unsuccessful.

Bubba felt a bit rocky after his treatment, but recovered nicely and has gone to a family that has a big fenced yard for him to play in, although he'll be an indoor dog most of the time. He also has a Dachshund "big sister" to play with.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, this Arkansas boy got a second chance with a new family.
