Success StoriesChance4, October, 2001Chance is a black, male Lab that was found with two other black dogs. The three dogs were about a mile from their rescuer's home, laying about six feet from the road. Chance and one of the other dogs were heartworm positive. The third dog had demodectic mange. These three were lucky enough to be dropped off near the home of a rescuer who volunteers with Town & Country Shelter Rescue in Texas. The rescue was able to take care of the two other dogs. LABMED assisted with the funding of Chance's heartworm treatment.Chance recovered from his treatment and was adopted. He now has an eight year old boy of his very own. Chance is very happy in his new home, where he gets to live in the house with his loving family.
