Choco, December, 2000

Choco was found in a Southern California animal shelter. This chocolate boy's time was running out, but he must have had an angel looking out for him since All Retriever Rescue Foundation saved him on his last day!

This 4 1/2 year old Lab is described as the friendliest guy around! A slight limp alerted the rescuers to seek medical assistance and he was diagnosed as having a displaced patella and arthritic changes. Surgical treatment was required, and this came at a high price. Luckily, the prognosis was excellent - once healed he will lead a normal life. An occasional aspirin would be needed for the arthritic changes, but this is not considered a problem nor an obstacle to a full and good life.

LABMED was contacted to help another ARRF Lab. As it turns out, Choco has another angel looking out for him, and the name of this angel is LABMED! Choco has recovered and is living a full life with his new adoptive parents in sunny Southern California!
