Cleo, March 2003

Cleo

Cleo found a safe haven at Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue (CCLRR) when her owner passed away. Placed in a foster home, the five year old black female Lab appeared to be in generally good health, but she was limping due to a torn cruciate ligament. Surgery would be needed to allow Cleo to run and play freely once more. While she was being evaluated for surgery, Cleo charmed everyone at the vet clinic with her sweet personality and wagging tail.

With help from LABMED and Labrador Life Line, Cleo was able to have the surgery to repair her knee. Everyone at CCLRR was delighted that Cleo would be able to resume normal Labrador activities once she had recovered from the surgery. Cleo's fans at the rescue organization sent us this nice note:  "Thanks so much again from everyone at CCLRR, and special thanks from Cleo!"
