Cody5, May 2003

Cody5

Cody, a 60-pound 2-year old male yellow Lab, was a stray dog that had been hit by a car near Wooster, Ohio.

When found, he was taken right to the vet and held for three days for an owner to call and claim him. No call was made so surgery was scheduled because of the pain Cody was in.

Cody had a severe spiral fracture to his left hind leg plus several broken teeth and a bruised liver. After surgery, his leg was stable and prognosis was good for this loving, compassionate dog. The rescuer had used the services of LABMED in the past and once again requested help and was not turned away. In her words, "your organization (LABMED) has been wonderful."

And, hopefully, Codys future will be wonderful also.
