Jett, September 2003

Jett is the September Max's Memorial Fund Dog

Jett

This little black puppy was found by the side of a road near Universal City, TX, when he was only about 2 months old. Picked up by a Good Samaritan, he was taken to a vet who contacted Wags to Whiskers, a small all-breed dog rescue.

Jett was greatly in need of medical attention! He was diagnosed with a non-contagious form of mange that would require repeated Mitaban dips until a negative skin scraping could be obtained. Jett also needed antibiotics to treat a urinary infection.

LABMED was happy to be able to help provide the medical care that Jett needed to survive and prosper. With proper medical treatment along with lots of love and nutritious food from his foster family, Jett soon blossomed into a healthy and energetic pup with a glossy black coat. Jett charmed everyone at the vet clinic with his friendly attitude and happily wagging tail. Once he has completely recovered from the mange and has been neutered, Jett will be ready to be the perfect pet for a very lucky family.
