Kirby, September 2002

Kirby was turned in to a vet in Texas after being hit by a car. His original owner signed him over to rescue. Kirby had a badly broken left rear tibia. This friendly, black, male Lab required a plate in his leg to help it heal. A good Samaritan helped Kirby and applied to LABMED for funding.

LABMED funded a portion of Kirby's surgery. At last report, he was recovering in his foster home.
