Libby3, May 2004
Libby3 was found in a highway in Mississippi in the middle of the night. She had been hit by a car and was in danger of being hit again when her rescuer came along. Libby's rescuer got her into the car and took her to the vet, where she was found to have head trauma and cuts, but no broken bones. She was a very lucky dog to have been scooped up out of that highway before another car hit her.
LABMED helped with the veterinary expense. Georgia Lab Rescue was willing to take Libby in for fostering after her treatment.
Libby has been adopted and is now living happily in her permanent home.
