Meg, May 2005

Meg is the Buddy Arnold Memorial Fund Dog for May, 2005

Meg

Meg was picked up by a shelter in Indiana after she was found running loose with an injured leg. At some time in the past, Meg's left front leg had been broken and was allowed to heal incorrectly. She was not able to use the leg at all, and due to nerve damage the best option was to amputate the injured leg.

The shelter applied to LABMED for assistance with her vet bills and with the help of the Buddy Arnold Fund we were able to assist with the surgery costs. Because Meg was used to hobbling around using only 3 legs for some time, she adjusted well to being a tripod and was quickly ready for adoption!
