Molly12, February 2004

Molly12

When she was only a little over a year old, Molly was involved in a serious accident that resulted in the amputation of her right front leg. Unfortunately, when the amputation site became severely infected, the owner of this lovely young black Lab could not afford any more medical care and released Molly to an animal control shelter in Mississippi. From there, Molly was rescued by Labs4Rescue in Bush, LA. With appropriate medical care and treatment, Molly made a good recovery and adjusted well to life as a three-legged Lab.

Labs4Rescue contacted LABMED for help in paying for Molly's medical
care, and we were happy to be able to help this friendly young Lab along the road to recovery. Molly will soon be looking for a new home of her very own - the loss of a leg has not slowed her down at all and she is ready to join in all the activities that a lively family can provide.
