Success StoriesPrince4, May 2004
Prince is a young yellow male Lab that was turned in as a stray to the Steven Memorial Animal Shelter in Iowa. Prince is one of the many Labs and Lab-mixes treated for heartworms with the help of LABMED. Prince tolerated his stressful treatment well and we were happy to receive this update from the shelter: "Prince is doing very well recuperating from his HW treatment but has not yet been adopted. He is a terrific dog and I know we will find him a great new home. THANK YOU for making a motion to fund Prince's treatment. We appreciate it so very much as he is definitely a great dog and a real testament to the wonderful qualities of the Labrador breed. Please pass along our sincere appreciation to all of the members of the board at LABMED for helping Prince receive his treatment and be placed for adoption." |
