Success StoriesRego, March 2003
Rego, a two year old black male Lab from Dallas Fort-Worth, TX, was brought into the animal shelter with a broken right front leg. Rego's owners were contacted, and once contacted, they decided to release poor Rego to the shelter. With no hope for any future after being surrendered by the only family he knew, the shelter contacted the DFW Labrador Rescue who contacted LABMED. Rego, described as a super sweet boy, needed extensive surgery requiring a plate to mend the leg which had been broken in three places. Rego is now on two months of bed rest at his foster home. Although
Rego is still looking for his forever home, he is one of the lucky Labs
funded by LABMED. Rego sends a great BIG THANK YOU to all who support LABMED.
Without your support, Rego may not have been here today. |
