Riley, November 2001

Riley, a 7 month old black Lab from Wisconsin was surrendered to his vet after being diagnosed with hip dysplasia. The vet was impressed with Riley's temperament and contacted Labrador Education and Rescue Network to check if they could find a new home for him. LEARN decided to take Riley and had him re-evaluated by a local vet school.

The orthopedic specialist who examined Riley fell in love with the young black Lab and decided to adopt him. Riley's new mom will make sure he gets the surgery needed to help his hips and LEARN asked LABMED to fund the cost of the exam which we were happy to do.
