Rose, November 2002
Rose was only a tiny puppy when she, her siblings and her mother were rescued from a rural community in TN. The mother and pups were starving, infested with internal parasites and covered with fleas. They were placed in foster homes to regain their health.
When she was just four months old, this little yellow female became ill with a parvovirus infection. She was hospitalized at a vet clinic and treated with IV fluids and nutrients. LABMED was contacted and we were able to fund much of the cost of Rose's hospitalization. Happily, Rose made a good recovery and was soon romping and playing again. Now all she needs is a new family to love her for the rest of her life.
