Success StoriesSarah2, November 2003
Sarah, a yellow Lab, had a difficult few years. Her original owner had moved and left her. Her next owners decided they couldn't keep her and turned her into the pound for euthanasia. She was young, pregnant and set for euthanasia. Luckily a nice lady from the German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue of Michigan stepped in and saved Sarah. ![]() Sarah needed an emergency c-section to retrieve her tenth puppy. Unfortunately the puppy couldn't be saved, but Sarah could and was saved! Sarah had a uterine infection. She and her nine puppies needed to be treated for kennel cough. LABMED was glad to assist with funding for Sarah's surgery. The vet described Sarah's temperament as "excellent". Hopefully she and her puppies will find much happiness in their forever homes when they are adopted. |
