Shanna, April 2004
Shanna is an young black Lab that found herself in a California shelter with a broken back leg. She stayed in the shelter for two weeks before being rescued by Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue. CCLRR applied to LABMED for help in funding Shanna's surgery.
Shanna had surgery on her leg jointly funded by LABMED and Labrador Lifeline. She was recovering nicely at her foster home at last report.
