Vinnie, June 1999

Vinnie was a stray - malnourished, tick infested and extremely pregnant - who showed up on a kind person's front porch. The woman took her to the vet who agreed to take care of her. This poor mama dog was in critical condition. Because she was so ill, she could hardly care for the pups that were born a few days after her rescue. LABMED funded the medical care required to keep her alive and well and caring for her puppies. Vinnie and her four puppies, two yellow and two black, are going to be just fine and will make wonderful family pets!
