Success Stories

Wilbur2, November 2002

Wilbur2

Wilbur was only a tiny puppy when he, his siblings and his mother were rescued from a rural community in TN. The mother and pups were starving, infested with internal parasites and covered with fleas. They were placed in a foster home to regain their health.

When he was four months old, this little black Lab became ill with a parvovirus infection. He was hospitalized at a vet clinic and treated with IV fluids and nutrients. LABMED was contacted and we were able to fund much of the cost of Wilbur's hospitalization. Happily, Wilbur made a good recovery and was soon romping and playing again. Now all Wilbur needs is a new family to love him for the rest of his life.
